Bay Area Health Psychology

WELCOME

Bay Area Health Psychology is a partnership between Dr. Lawrence Feinstein PhD, and Dr. Mark Mosk PhD, clinical psychologists with special expertise in health psychology and behavioral medicine. Our 30 years of experience in psychology and healthcare is dedicated to helping people with psychological conditions that interfere with their health, well-being or medical care, those living with a chronic medical condition, and those who simply wish to prevent illness and improve their own health and the health of their family.

We provide support to care givers of people living with medical conditions to maintain balance in their lives, manage stress, and maximize the effectiveness of their efforts to help.

We offer individual, couples and family therapy for a variety of conditions including disorders of aging, coping with cancer, weight loss, health lifestyle behaviors, and stress management.

We also offer biofeedback treatment, alone or in combination with Cognitive Behavior Therapy or EMDR, for a variety behavioral and medical conditions. Click here to learn more about our biofeedback treatment.

Care coordination with patients' physicians is central to our approach. Care coordination results in reduced anxiety and depression, better understanding of physicians' instructions, better medication adherence and regimen compliance, and ultimately improved quality of life and reduced hospital readmissions.

We accept most medical insurance including Medicare.
